  • Black Sea Tour (Sumela Monastery)
    • Duration: 1 day Overview: Take an early morning flight from Istanbul to Trabzon and transfer to the city center. Around 10 am, meet with your group and guide and take the bus to the Monastery of Sumela in Trabzon. After 50 minutes arrive at the village of Altindere. Sumela Monastery, standing on the edge of a steep cliff, is a complex of churches and a Greek Monastery at an altitude of 1150 meters. The full name of the complex is Panagia Sumela or Theotokos Sumela. Founded in the year 386 AD, legend has it that two priests undertook the founding of the monastery at the site after having discovered a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary in a cave on the mountain. Turkish Baths or 'hammams' as they are called, are for many aspects of health, not just for external cleanliness. Before Turkey was established as a separate country, the Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans and nomadic people of the region had their own variations of bathing rituals. These traditions combined, created a different variation of these ancient bathing habits. In the Turkish Bath (Turkish Hammam), the bather enters the dry heat of a sweating area. Afterwards, the bather begins to perspire heavily because of a wet steam. The skin is then washed with soap and warm water and the muscles massaged. After being scoured and washed, the bather's body temperature returns to normal. Enjoy this tradition so well established in Turkey.

    • Duration: 2 hours Overview: The branch of Sufic mysticism, practiced widely in contemporary Turkey, is rooted in a man called Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, and is famous for its Whirling Dervish Tradition, where by rotating on the left foot and crossing over it with the right, the Dervish reaches a spinning intensity, rotating to the music that musicians play close by. Sufism is apart from the Islamic religion because of its nature as a kind of transcendental metaphysics which accepts all religions as one and is founded upon universal and unconditional forgiveness.

      The foundation of Ephesus by colonists of Hellenic stock took place between the 16th and 11th centuries B.C. Testament to the importance that Ephesus had in the Roman world are the visits paid by illustrious figures such as Brutus, Cassius, Anthony and Cicero himself. The city grew and soon became an active commercial center, headquarters of the Roman Governor and one of the first five cities of the Roman Empire. After lunch, visit the Archaeological Museum and St. John's Basilica.
  • Full Day Tour to Pammukale
    • Duration: 9 hours Overview: In the morning leave Izmir behind and drive to Pamukkale, a natural site and a famous tourist attraction in south-western Turkey in Denizli Province. There's nothing quite like the unique experience of Pamukkale, known as the "Cotton Castle" because of its dazzling white, petrified lime castles and cascades and home to Turkey's famous thermal springs. It is the largest and finest example of elaborate calcium formation in the world, which dominates the landscape miles around.

      The thermal spring water laden with calcareous salt, plunges down the mountain side creating this natural formation of stalactites, cataracts and basins. The thermal water has been used since the Roman period for its therapeutic powers. Bring along your swimming suit and bathe in the therapeutic pools.

      Visit the Roman city of Hierapolis on top, built on solid limestone layers formed by limestone water that flowed for centuries over this raised level plateau. The Romans built this spa city around a sacred warm-water spring. The name means "sacred city," because of the large number of temples it contained. Visit the Apollo Temple competing with Delphi, monumental Nympheum (a 4th century Basilica) and the Theatre. Then visit the best preserved Necropolis and return to Izmir.
  • Full day Pergamum and Asklepion
    • Duration: 8 hours Overview: Pergamum is one of the finest archaeological sites in Turkey. The city was a great center of culture and the capital of East Roman Empire.

      On the Acropolis there are numerous remains including the celebrated Library, the steepest theatre of Anatolia, the Temples of Trojan and Dionysos, the place of the monumental Altar of Zeus famous for the relief of God and devils, the Sanctuary of Demeter, the Gymnasium situated on terraces and the lower Agora.

      After a delicious Turkish lunch, proceed to the Medical Center of the ancient world, Asklepion, dedicated to the God of Health, Asklepios. This is where the first psychological treatment originated.
  • Didyma – Piriene – Miletus
    • Duration: 9 hours Overview: Begin the day among the Hellenic art and architecture of the ruins in Priene, an ancient Ionian city dramatically overlooking the fertile plains of the Meandre Valley. Continue to the ancient city of Miletus, formerly a prosperous commercial harbor city and the most prominent in Anatolia in its heyday. Most noteworthy among the scattered ruins are the Great Theater and Roman Baths. Proceed to the ancient city of Didyma, the setting for one of the most colossal temples in the Hellenic World, venerating the God Apollo.
  • Sirince Village Tour

      Aspendos, dominating the site is the best preserved Theatre of antiquity seating 15,000. The Galleries, stage decorations and the acoustics all reflect the success of the architect. Close to the Theatre Basilica and Agora, see the remains of an aqueduct, which was one of the largest in Anatolia. End with a visit to Side, one of the best-known classical sites in Turkey. It was an ancient harbor whose name meant 'pomegranate'. Side is a resort town on the southern coast of Turkey, near the villages of Manavgat and Selimiye, 75 km from Antalya.
  • Phaselis Boat Trip
    • Duration: 7 hours Overview: Experience a wonderful trip along the Turkish Coast. Board a boat from the Marina in Kemer which will take you along the Lycian coast (one of the most beautiful in Turkey) where you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. After lunch (on board) visit Phaselis. This ancient site is one of the most charming on the Lycia coast. Wander among Roman and Byzantine ruins (a theater, tree agoras and the aqueduct). In the afternoon, continue to the Ucadalar (Three Islands). After a swimming break, return to Kemer where buses will be boarded for the trip back to the hotel.
  • Turkish Baths
    • Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes Overview: For centuries, the Turkish hammam (bath) has been a comforting bathing ritual and cultural experience. Sultan Mehmet I built the first public hammam in Istanbul. Light and color creates a mystical harmonious atmosphere. Forget daily life outside and trade in your clothes for a traditional towel, "pestemal" and "takunya" (wooden slippers). In the bathing room, it is quite humid and the temperature is around 50 degrees Celsius. As your pores open, the massage master starts your treatment, called "kese," a scrubbing procedure exfoliating the skin, leaving it clean and smooth. Then your soapy massage begins as you completely relax. After you wash yourself with the traditional copper tins, you are led to a private room to rest where you will be served "cay", traditional Turkish tea, before leaving the hammam.
  • Antalya Jeep Safari
    • Duration: 7 hours Overview: This Jeep Safari will take you off-road, passing by the Gebiz river to visit Akcpinar Village and Ucansu Waterfall. After lunch, visit Haci Osman and Yumuklu Villages, where you will have the opportunity to take photos. Return to your hotel at around 16:00hrs.

    Half Day City Tour
    • Duration: 4 hours Overview: Depart in the morning or afternoon and visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum where numerous remnants from the Stone Age, Neolithic Age, Hittites, Urartians, Phrygians and many others are on display; Visit the Citadel of Ankara and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of the national hero who founded the modern Republic of Turkey (No lunch is served on this tour).

    • Duration: 11 hours Overview: If the name of "City of a Thousand Gods" really arouses your interest then Hattusas is the place to be. Located in one of the most rugged territories in the central Anatolian region Hattusas used to be the political and the religious capital of the Hittite Empire. Depart in the morning and drive 208 km. to Hattusas visiting Yazilikaya enroute to see the open air sanctuary where the sun light falls directly on the bas-reliefs in the morning. Lunch at a small restaurant in the town nearby and visit the capital of Hattusas with Lion's Gate, Tunnel, King's Gate, Citadel and Grand Temple. Then drive back to Ankara.
  • Cappadocia
    Full day Cappadocia Tour
    • Duration: 8 hours Overview: Cappadocia is a region in Central Anatolia, largely in Nevsehir Province. It is a "must see" region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage. Depart from the hotel at approx 09:30–10:00 hours and visit the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. These are moonlike landscapes formed by the continual erosion of the volcanic landscape by the wind and rain. They are tall, thin spires of rock that protrude from the bottom of an arid drainage basin or badland. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles.

      Drive to the city of Avanos for lunch. In the afternoon visit the Open Air Museum at Goreme with its remains of 12th to 13th century rock-cut churches containing beautiful frescoes (wall paintings) and Christian settlements dating back hundreds of years. Lastly, before returning to your hotel, visit the natural rock citadel of Uchisar, the tallest point in Cappadocia.
  • Hot Air Balloon Trip
    • Duration: 3 hours Overview: This is a unique experience that is worth every penny. You will have to wake up quite early that day, but it's an experience you will remember. To do a balloon trip in Cappadocia – it's just magical.
  • Derinkuyu Underground City
    • Duration: 4 hours Overview: Another "must see" in Turkey. These troglodyte cave-cities were excavated as early as Hittite times, and expanded over the centuries as various marauding armies traversed Central Anatolia. There are 36 underground cities in Cappadocia and the deepest one is Derinkuyu, while the widest is the Kaymakli . Derinkuyu is 40 km from Goreme. There are eight floors that extend to a depth of approximately 85 m. The extensive network of passages, tunnels, stepped pits and inclined corridors link family rooms and communal spaces where people would meet, work and worship. The cities were complete with wells, chimneys for air circulation, niches for oil lamps, stores, water tanks, stables and church. The city was connected with other underground cities through miles of long tunnels. The city could accommodate between 20,000 and 50,000 people.
