  • Vienna
    City Tour and Schonbrunn Palace
    • Duration: 3 hoursOverview: See the most important sights of the Austrian capital. Drive around the famous 'Ringstrasse', Vienna's main boulevard, past the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. Then drive along the Danube Canal and pass by Hundertwasser's 'Kunsthaus' and the Prater Park with its Giant Ferris Wheel.

      The Schonbrunn Palace, with its surrounding buildings and the huge park is one of the most significant cultural monuments in Austria. The castle was built to almost rival French Versailles in Baroque beauty. Admire the magnificent apartments of Maria Theresia, her sitting rooms, bedroom and the parlour in which 6 year old Mozart used to play for the Empress. See some of the most magnificently decorated rooms with frescoed ceilings, crystal chandeliers, huge mirrors and gilded ornaments.
      Rreturn to the city centre, passing by Belvedere Palace, where you can either end your tour, or continue to the State Opera House, where the tour ends.

    • Duration: At your own pace Overview: Visit the Belvedere Palace, the palace at the heart of Vienna and which was the baroque summer residence of the renowned general and art connoisseur Prince Eugene.   • Schonbrunn Oldest Zoo & Giant Ferris Wheel
    • Duration: At your own pace Overview: Visit the oldest zoo and oldest Giant Ferris Wheel in the world. The Zoo was founded in 1752 and it is the oldest existing zoo in the world. It is embedded into the baroque ambiance of the Palace Park of Schonbrunn and is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the Zoo you will be able to see the many attractions including a pair of Giant Pandas, Koalas, giant Ant-eaters, African Elephants, Japanese Cranes and more than 400 species that can hardly be seen in any other Zoo in the world.

      The Giant Ferris Wheel - called "Riesenrad" by the Viennese - is the oldest still existing wheel in the whole world. Its famous silhouette can be seen from most parts of the city and it has become a trademark representing Vienna. From the top you have an great view of the Austrian capital, Vienna.
  • Grand Danube River Cruise
    • Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes Overview: Welcome on board of the MS Vienna! In the first half of this cruise, you will pass some of Vienna's most significant buildings like the Urania observatory, the "Kunsthaus Wien" (which has been re-designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser) and the Gasometer building. After passing the modern Hydro Electric power plant Freudenau you will continue to the Reichsbruecke. On the second half of this cruise you will get an unforgettable view of Vienna's tallest buildings - the UNO City, the Danube Tower (252m) and the Millenium Tower (202m). Afterwards you get to appreciate the lock Nussdorf and the Thermal Waste Treatment Plant Spittelau, which has been designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. On the way back you will see the Rossau Barracks, the Vienna Ring Tower and the St. Rupert's Church, which is the oldest religious edifice of the city. You then return to Schwedenplatz.
  • Romantic Danube Valley
    • Duration: 8 hours Overview: On this full day excursion you will visit the beautiful region of Wachau Valley. Depart Vienna and head west along the highway to Melk, to visit the magnificent Benedictine Abby, Stift Melk. Lunch at the Abby Restaurant Melk, before boarding a boat for a beautiful view of the old castle and tales of the past. The boat ride ends at Duernstein, the old former wine merchant town. Return to Vienna, where the tour ends at the state opera house.
  • House of Music
    • Duration: 1.5 hours or 2 hours at your own pace Overview: House of Music is an interactive sound museum, in the city centre, with four floors dedicated to the world of music and sound. Go on a musical journey, where music becomes audible and visible in real and virtual rooms. The glass-covered Inner Courtyard provides a relaxing atmosphere, while in the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Museum you will discover the history of this famous orchestra. The former private apartments of the first leader of the Viennese Court Opera Company and founder of the Vienna Philharmonic are now home to historic treasures from the Philharmonic Archives. The New Year's Concert is probably the single most famous concert in the world. Experience the only authorised short version (35 minutes) of the Concert in a specially conceived concert hall, where top quality imaging and sound allow you to immerse yourself in this unique cultural event.
  • Schonbrunn Concert Package: Dinner and Concert
    • Duration: 3 hours 40 minutes Overview: The Cafe' Restaurant Residenz, which used to be the imperial palace kitchen of Schonbrunn Palace is located at the Court of Honour, next door to the main entrance of the palace. Here you will enjoy a 3 course seasonal dinner. After dinner, enjoy a classical concert at the Orangerie Schonbrunn, for which there are 3 seating categories available. The Front Stalls package includes a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice during the interval. In the first half, the orchestra plays Mozart and Strauss in the second. The orchestra comprises 18 musicians with a conductor (from November to March only 6-8 musicians), 2 opera singers and a pair of ballet dancers.
  • Strauss and Mozart Concert
    • Duration: 1 hour 40 minutes Overview: This concert takes place in the Wiener Kursalon, which is located in the beautiful Stadtpark where you will see the famous statue of Johann Strauss. The famous master works of Strauss and Mozart are performed by the very professional Salon Orchestra, opera singers, and ballet dancers.
  • Vienna Heurigen Show
    • Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes Overview: Start the evening with a tour along the illuminated boulevard Ring to the Viennese Prater and after a ride on the Giant Ferries Wheel, one of the symbols of Vienna, carry on to  Grinzig, the little picturesque wine-growing village in the North of Vienna. Enjoy the 'Vienna Heurigen Show', where artists in beautiful costumes perform well known Waltz and operetta melodies, whilst enjoying a traditional Viennese meal and ¼  of local 'Heurigen wine'.
  • Vienna Woods and Mayerling
    • Duration: 4 hours Overview: See the most beautiful part of the southern part of Vienna Woods. A stop will be made at Hoeldrichsmuehle, known as the place where Schubert composed Der Lindenbaum. You will also see Liechtenstein Castle from the distance. Then head towards the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz. Next you visit Mayerling, a hunting lodge where the Crown Prince Rudolph, the only son of Emperor Franz Joseph, committed suicide with Baroness Vetsera. Drive through the beautiful Helenental, passing through the Roman City of Baden, known for its thermal springs. After a coffee break return to Vienna.
  • Salzburg

    • Overview: The Salzburg Card offers you free entrance to all attractions in Salzburg city like Mozart's Birthplace, Mozart's House, the Hellbrunn Castle and the Fortress Hohensalzburg, as well as free use of the public transport throughout the city (except trains).   • Fortress Hohenwerfen
    • Duration: 5 hours Overview: Pass the beautiful Salzach river valley before arriving at Werfen, where, up on the mountain you can see the Fortress Hohenwerfen, (11th Century). This castle was shown in the movie "The Sound of Music" and where the film "Where Eagles Dare" with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood was filmed. You will travel up the elevator, and back to the "Middle Ages."

      You can also participate in a flying birds of prey show, walk around in the fortress or visit the shops of the knights. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Austrian Alps in the romantic castle-tavern. In the afternoon return to Salzburg.
  • Lakes and Mountain Special
    • Duration: 9 hours Overview: On this tour to the "Land of Music" you will pass the village of Hof, the Lake Fuschl and arrive at St. Gilgen, which is located by Lake Wolfgangsee. From here you will take a boat ride over to St. Wolfgang, where you visit the church with the unique Gothic Winged Altar made famous by the artist Michael Pacher and the "White Horse Inn". You will then take the steam cogwheel train to the top of the Schafberg, for a breathtaking panoramic view over the lakes of this area. At the end of the tour, return to Salzburg passing Mondsee.
  • Bavarian Alps
    • Duration: 4 hours Overview: Your tour starts with a drive towards the historical Celtic town of Hallein, over the Durrnberg mountain road, past the old saltmines into neighbouring Bavaria and Germany. Drive over the alpine pass for breathtaking views of the alps, and continue to Obersalzberg. After a short stop, descend into the valley to the beautiful lake, Konigssee. From here drive to Berchtesgaden and take a stroll through this pretty mountain town.
  • Eagle’s Nest
    • Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes Overview: Drive from Salzburg over the Durrnberg mountain pass, with it's Miner's Chapel, crossing the German border to reach Obersalzberg. From here a specially constructed bus drives you up the steep mountain road to a parking area. Walk a short distance through a tunnel in the mountain to the elaborate elevator which takes you up the Eagle's Nest, formerly a meeting place for Hitler and his diplomatic guests. A spectacular view of the entire Salzach Valley and the Bavarian Alps awaits you. Make a short stop at the picturesque market town of Berchtesgaden before returning to Salzburg.
  • The Most Unique Sound of Music Tour
    • Duration: 4 hours Overview: Relive the true story of the Von Trapp family which was filmed as the 'Sound of Music' in the Salzburg area. The tour, which has been Salzburg's most popular tour for over 20 years, is a combination of sightseeing in this historical city itself and in the beautiful lakes and mountains area known as the Salzkammergut, which is also a famous musical and cultural centre.

  • Japanese City and Salzkammergut Tour
    • Duration: 6 hours Overview: First enjoy a walking tour through the "Mozart city” of Salzburg, where you will see the Mirabell Palace, the Markart square, the famous Getreidegasse, the University square, the Festival hall, the Cathedral square, the Residenz square and the old market.

      During the second part of your tour, continue to the lakes and mountain region called "Salzkammergut". Stop at Mondsee and continue to St. Gilgen for a sightseeing tour.   • Mozart City Tour and Mozart Residence
    • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes Overview: The tour begins by the Palace of Mirabell built in 1606 for the Archbishop Wolf Dietrich and is today home to the office of the local Mayor and city offices. Drive past the Mozarteum (University of Music), the Marionette Theatre to  Markart Square with the Landestheatre (The Regional Theatre), The Trinity Church, and Mozart's residence.

      Following the Salzach (Salt) river along part of the old fortifications, pass the Law Courts on the way to the Hellbrunn Palace where you will have a short photo stop. On the way back pass the Palace of Frohnburg and the Nonnberg Abbey, situated beneath the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress. Once in the old city pass by the Festival Halls, Old University, Horse Pond, Getreidegasse and the Blasius Church. When to Visit
Best time to visit: Austria has a temperate continental climate, with warm, sunny summers and cold winters. Spring, autumn and the beginning of summer are the best times to travel to Vienna.
In July, temperatures range between 15°C and 25°C. Thunderstorms occur frequently in summer and snowfall is common in winter. Winters are cold, temperatures hovering just above or below freezing.

Austrian cuisine has been influenced by Hungarian, Bohemian Czech, Jewish, Italian, Balkan and French cuisine,. It is most often associated with Viennese cuisine, but there are significant regional variations.

Tafelspitz: Beef boiled in broth, often served with apple and horseradish sauce
Gulasch: A hotpot similar to Hungarian Pörkölt. Austrian goulash is eaten often with rolls, bread or dumplings ("Semmelknödel")
Beuschel: A ragout containing calf lungs and heart
Liptauer: Spicy cheese spread, eaten on a slice of bread
Selchfleisch: Smoked, then cooked meat with Sauerkraut (sour cabbage)and dumplings.
