Arrive Nice airport or train station and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast. Enjoy a full day excursion (8 ½ hrs) to Cote d’Azur from your hotel at 0900 hrs.Upon leaving Nice, we drive up to Mont Alban, with its splendid views over Nice and Villefranche. Then on to Eze, a typical French medieval village, famous for perfume making. You will have the chance to visit one of the perfume factories to see how the local scents are made. From there, we travel the Principality of Monaco to see Old Monaco, the Cathedral, changing of the guards at noon and the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit. Then to St Paul de Vence, the jewel of Provence, where you will appreciate the artistic atmosphere. From scenic St Paul de Vence, we drive to Antibes, to see the old town, and marvel at the enormous yachts moored at 'Billionaires' Quay'. Our final visit of the day is to Cannes, where we visit the 'Croisette' to see the prints of some of the famous actors who have come to Cannes for the film festival. We will arrive back in Nice at around 17.30. Overnight.
Early breakfast and check-out. Arrive on your own at Nice Ville train station. Depart by train to Bordeaux. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Check-in to your own hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast. Experience a full day excursion to Saint-Emillion, a UNESCO world heritage site, where you will get to enjoy the many delights this tour has to offer. Enjoy this full day excursion to Saint Emilion, one of the world's most famous vineyard regions, which is also listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Your tour begins with a visit to a prestigious estate in the Saint-Emilion appellation; Chateau Angelus or Chateau Bel Air, where you will enjoy a guided cellar tour and wine tasting. You will then continue on to Chateau Haut-Sarpe, where you will enjoy a guided cellar tour, followed by a 'wine grower's lunch' at the grape pickers quarters. Your tour will end with a visit to a medieval town of Saint-Emilion, where you will enjoy free time to explore the village and its underground monuments, before returning to Bordeaux. Return to Bordeaux for overnight stay.
Breakfast. Check-out and transfer to the train station to depart by train to Bergerac. Arrive and transfer to a farm house, Maison de la Floret, situated in the heart of the Dordogne, only 7 mins drive from Bergerac, nestling in the forest and rolling countryside. An ideal base for discovering the many treasures of the region. Full day at leisure to relax or visit the medieval walled towns, impressive chateaux, riverside villages and other unique places of interest. Set in 14 acres of delightful forest with large gardens, you can stroll through the woodlands, fish at the lake, or simply relax at the pool. For the more actively inclined, horse riding, golf, tennis, fishing, canoeing, rambling and cycling, are all available within easy distance. Overnight.
Breakfast. Another full day to relax. The ancient town of Bergerac is located in the heart of 12,000 acres of vineyards.
Enjoy the traditional cafes, restaurants, marketplace, theatre and museum, also the festivals and boat trips on the river. The 14 acre's of forest and gardens are simply delightful and ideal for enjoying a peaceful stroll or a day's fishing at the lake. Guests are always welcome to picnic in the grounds.
Early breakfast. Check-out and transfer to Bordeaux train station and depart by train to Paris. Arrive Paris in the afternoon. Evening enjoy the Lido Show. A drive past the floodlit famous monuments of Paris (with recorded commentary), delight at the illuminated landmarks such as the Champs-Elysees, the Arc De Triumph, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Pyramid and many more. This will be followed by a prestigious and exciting show at the Lido, 'Bonheur' (unescorted). Enjoy the show while sipping a glass of champagne. Overnight.
Breakfast. Morning enjoy an orientation tour of Versailles. Versailles represents a reminder of the grandeur of classical French architecture, with extravagant decoration and layout. Relive the glorious period of Louis XIV, XV, XVI. Once there, you will visit (unescorted) the beautifully decorated State Apartments (which contains the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Bedroom). You will be given audio phones inside Versailles (available in English) depicting important areas of this beautiful palace. This tour also includes some free time to stroll around the vast gardens surrounding the palace, designed by Andre le Notre.
Afternoon, enjoy city tour of Paris, “Seinorma”. Strong characteristic of the French people is the respect they have for their history and the restoration of their national monuments. The result of this preservation of the past has greatly contributed to the beauty of Paris today. This tour includes the Place de la Concorde, the Avenue des Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. You will then be taken to a prestigious and residential area near the Bois de Boulogne before enjoying a one hour cruise on the River Seine. Finally, enjoy a visit to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower and admire the superb panoramic views over Paris.
