: Getaway to Mljet Island, 4 nights/ 5 days

The untamed Dalmatian island of Mljet is one of Croatia's top sights and a paradise for anyone wanting to get away from it all. Half  of Mljet island is a pristine national park. There are few residents, no large towns and only one major road. The highlight and most unusual feature of Mljet National Park are the two inland salt water lakes - Malo Jezero and Veliko Jezero, connected to the sea by a narrow canal.
Accommodation
The island of Mljet, as do most of the other islands along the Croatian coast, offers a variety of accommodation in its villages and bays. Most accommodation is offered by the locals renting out rooms and apartments to travelers.  The only hotel on the island is Hotel Odisej, located in Pomena.
Suggested Programme for 4 nights –
