Day 1: Ljubljana (Evening City Tour by Tourist Train)

Arrive Ljubljana Airport and transfer to your hotel. Take a tour through the beautiful capital of Slovenia. The old city centre has a mixture of Baroque and Art Nouveau masterful creations by the 20th century architect Joze Plecnik. You will see the major sights and finish your tour with a tourist train ride up to Ljubljana Castle, which departs from Krekov trg Square. Overnight.

Day 2: Ljubljana – Lake Bled

Breakfast. Check-out and transfer by car with English speaking driver to Lake Bled. Arrive and check-in. Rest of the day free.

Day 3: Lake Bled (Excursion to Pletna + Postojna Cave)

Breakfast. Enjoy a guided orientation tour of Lake Bled and its surroundings, followed by an excursion to Postojna Caves. Take the “pletnas” traditional wooden boats which will take you across the Bled Lake to the island situated in the centre. Visit St. Mary Church situated on the islet and Bled Castle. Lunch at a local restaurant. At the Postojna Cave, you will be dazzled by the many calcite formations, stalactites and stalagmites in a variety of shapes, colours and age. Return to Lake Bled for overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Bled – Ljubljana

Breakfast. Check-out and transfer by car to Ljubljana train station or airport.

Pension Alp is a family owned pension in the vicinity of Lake Bled, surrounded by cornfields and providing a wonderful view of Karavanke Mountain and the Julian Alps. Its only 700 meters or a 10 minute easy walk to the lake or the center of town. You will rest and enjoy the atmosphere in our pleasant double, triple or family rooms. Pension Alp is an excellent starting point for different activities such as walking, hiking, cycling or fishing. Guests can rent bikes or play tennis. After a long day you can pamper yourself in the Wellness Center and then savor delicious, locally grown, and creative food in their restaurant.
